Louis Katz Live Comedy Special Taping
25 years after first taking the stage in San Francisco, Louis Katz returns to his comedy hometown to tape his newest stand up special. This latest hour of material showcases Louis' evolution into a true master of the craft, as he takes his signature blend of highbrow and lowbrow humor to new heights in an effortless mix of punchline-heavy stand-up, cutting social commentary, and heartfelt storytelling.
Over the course of his career, Louis has been featured on NBC, HBO, and 5 times on Comedy Central, including his own half-hour special and an appearance on their storytelling show, “This Is Not Happening,” which has since been viewed over 3 million times on YouTube. His latest album, “KATZKILLS,” was named one of the top 5 comedy albums of the year by vulture.com, who called it “a raucous comedy party.” Louis’ first one-hour special was released on Epix in 2022 as part of their “Unprotected Sets” series. His latest special, "Present/Tense," was released independently on YouTube in late 2023 and became an instant hit with over a million views in just a few months.
A true comedian’s comedian, Louis’ act has garnered praise from industry legends such as Dave Attell who called him, “one of the best joke writers working today” and Ali Wong who said Louis was, “one of the funniest and most prolific comedians I know.” Marc Maron featured Louis on his WTF podcast twice saying, “His album and special are hilarious.” But perhaps Doug Stanhope put it best when he said, "Katz is funny to the point that Hitler would have given him a sleeper car on the train."
If you like your dirty jokes smart and your smart jokes a little filthy, you’re going to love Louis Katz.

Comic monologuist Josh Kornbluth debuted in 1992 on New York’s Upper Broadway – the bohemian Upper West Side – with a new kind of solo storytelling. He now brings his long‑running improvised event “What Is To Be Done?” to Club Fugazi for three Wednesdays.
A story of defeating depression by resisting fascism – and defeating fascism by resisting depression – the show is funny, inspired, timely, and deeply human. How do we find hope, even joy, in dark times? How can we discover our own power when the news makes us feel powerless? Is it possible both to acknowledge our current trauma and break through to positive action?
Josh creates his renowned long‑form monologues through improvisation, and these performances are part of the journey toward his next piece. His work and solo shows have been featured and praised in major outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, the San Francisco Chronicle, Entertainment Weekly, and many others.
